It is likely that if you are reading this, you received our literature in the mail, or you have heard about Practice Solutions some other way. We want to take a moment to welcome you to our site and provide a brief overview of why we exist, who we are, and what we do.
Why Do We Exist?
Practice Solutions, LLC began when Kathryn and I had a conference call with several mental health providers in Kalispell, MT. They were all fairly new to the private practice world and we had experience working within group practices as well as with creating business processes. The idea was to create an organization that shared knowledge and resources for solo providers. They didn't want to handle the burden of the business details of their practice. After all, they were trained in mental and behavioral health, not business administration. The cry that rang true was the desire to focus on care without the added frustration of running a business.
However, those providers suggested we begin a company for them to do business with. After some contemplation, we took our passion for providers and business and created Practice Solutions. We quickly realized that they weren't the only people in this field that wanted to offload their billing. The goal is simple: create space for providers to focus on treatment, not billing.
Who Are We?
Our company is located in Ypsilanti, a town in southeastern Michigan. The company is made of the founding partners; Jeremy and Kathryn Zug. We have Bachelor’s degrees in Pre-Counseling from the Moody Bible Institute located in downtown Chicago. During our time in Chicago we both worked in solo and group practices doing administrative work and billing. Over the past 2 years we have worked at a manufacturer of electrical instruments for gas and vapor analysis, and we are excited to take what we have learned and apply those lessons to your practice.
What Do We Do?
Our company provides billing solutions for behavioral and mental health providers. The software we utilize allows you to manage your practice with ease and get paid in a timely manner. We verify eligibility and benefits, submit claims, invoice patients, follow-up on rejected claims, track financial metrics, and stay up-to-date on the developments within the insurance industry and the behavioral health field.
